The Ember's in Mt. Pleasant is closed now, but we have the recipe for their One-Pound Pork Chop and this pea and peanut salad. We have encountered the same recipe with 1/2 teaspoon of Accent added.
1-1/2/ cups Hellman's mayonnaise (GFpM: or less to taste)
1/2 cup Miracle Whip (GFpM: or less to taste)
1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
20 ounces frozen green peas, thawed and well drained.
8 ounces canned Spanish peanuts
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first three ingredients.
2. Fold in the peas and peanuts.
3. Chill for at least 2 hours.
Combine equal parts frozen green peas, thawed and well drained, Miracle Whip, and canned Spanish peanuts. Best eaten the same day it is made.
